Job Vacancy for the Nursing Faculty of SBF Nursing Institute:

The Sonar Bangla Foundation (SBF) is a USA based non-profit organization/foundation with the goals of establishing health care facilities throughout Bangladesh providing kidney dialysis services and kidney disease screening and treatment, laboratory services, and dialysis bioengineering training and development. SBF aspires to develop world class nursing forces in Bangladesh by educating and training them through SBF Nursing Institute (SBF-NI). The long term goals of SBF are to build a world class research-based university in Bangladesh with state-of-the art medical school and hospital and to contribute to the nation thru education and medical research excellence.

The SBF Nursing Institute (SBF-NI) is going to be established on January 2019. The Appointed Lecturers/ Instructors will be Proposed Lecturers/ Instructors until SBF-NI acquires approval under Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC).

Job Title: Nursing Faculty
Job Nature : Full time / Part Time
Report to : Principal, Project Director, President

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare and deliver lectures on diploma in Nursing
Prepare course materials such as, homework assignments and handouts.

Supervise students’ laboratory and clinical work.
Evaluate & grade students’ class work, laboratory/clinic work, assignments/papers
Assist students with course scheduling & provide guidance in academic development
Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records.

Supervise undergraduate and/or graduate teaching, internship, and research work.
Participate in student recruitment, registration, and placement activities.
Demonstrate patient care in clinical units of hospitals.
Educational Requirements

B.Sc. in Nursing with Diploma. MSc/MPH will be preferred first
Experience Requirements

The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Teaching/ Training, Education Administration/ Management, Curriculum/Program Development
Excellent English skills in writing and speaking
